Description
The hermetically sealing transfer passbox, also referred to as a pass-through or transfer hatch, is an important piece of equipment that allows equipment and materials to be transferred between two zones with differing cleanliness levels or classes. It prevents contamination during equipment transfer.
- Passbox doors and casing comrise a hermetically sealed welded assembly
- Inner casing in 304 L stainless steel, satin-finish, polished, 220 grain
- Outer casing in electrogalvanized steel with powder coating (thickness 80 microns), anti-corrosion coating as per RAL colour chart
- Clipped static seal, EPDM, on all 4 sides of the single-piece door leaf (swing panel)
- Door handle in 316 L stainless steel
- Stainless steel flush hinges, with roller bearings
- Dual-flush oculus, 90% vision panel
- The frame contains stainless steel airtight units that house the control panels
- Sound and thermal insulation with expanded rockwool core M0 (density 130 kg/m3) or non-combustible aluminium honeycomb core (option)
- Leakage rate under positive and negative pressure: 0.30 m3/h under 30 Pa (according to laboratory tightness test)
- Door interlock mechanism controlled by a programmable micro-PLC, including opening control via a piezo button or contactless sensor; 300 DaN flush-mounted electromagnetic suction pad locking system
