The Bio-dis universe
We offer three dedicated services designed to provide you with the technical solutions best suited to your needs:
Equipment
Bio-dis develops, markets, and installs airtight swing doors, hermetically sealing sliding doors, personnel airlocks, equipment transfer passboxes and hatches, and decontamination chambers with associated smart management systems.
Our solutions and products are designed specifically for the following containment lab classes:
class 2, 3, and 4 (A2, A3, P2, P3, P4) labs, and ISO 5-6-7-8 cleanrooms where particulate concentration is controlled to minimise the introduction, generation, and retention of particulate matter.

- Marketing
- Installation
Bio-dis offers installation and revamping services for clean rooms up to 200m². Bio-dis also provides airtight sealant solutions and services for: sterilisation rooms, operating rooms, CRUs, chemotherapy preparation, parenteral nutrition, IVF labs, and MAP centres.
We support you throughout your equipment’s lifetime by offering custom maintenance contracts tailored to your needs and budgetary constraints.
Engineering
Audit, diagnostics, and recommendations on the products and equipment that are both best suited to your cleanroom, sterile room, or laboratory, and fully compliant with applicable standards and product compliance requirements based on the classification of your controlled atmosphere environment.
Consulting
Our team boasts in-depth knowledge of your work environment.
Bio-dis supports you through its range of technical solutions and bespoke products, designed to provide the best fit for your business and your various stages of manufacturing and process.
A final validation phase, conducted with users, confirms the integration of the selected technical choices prior to launching production of your project for hermetic doors, personnel airlocks, equipment passboxes, pass-through hatches, cleanrooms or laboratories.

Classification of biological containment labs
Biosafety laboratory classification refers to the classification of pathogen risk groups, which covers: infectivity, individual and collective transmissibility, pathogenicity, host spectrum, and neutralizability. Group 1 represents the lowest level of danger, and Group 4 the highest.
Presence of low-risk infectious microbes that pose little to no threat of infection in healthy adults. Low individual and collective risk.
Presence of pathogenic or infectious organisms that pose a moderate health hazard, such as pathogens of human diseases of varying severity. Moderate risk at the individual level and low risk at the collective level.
Presence of potentially airborne infectious agents. Includes pathogens that can cause serious diseases, for which there are therapeutic measures or vaccines. High risk at the individual level and moderate risk at the collective level.
Presence of dangerous, airborne, infectious agents. Includes pathogens capable of causing highly dangerous, often fatal diseases, for which there are no therapeutic measures or vaccines. High risk at both the individual and collective levels.
Safety and containment solutions
Human or animal pathogens are classified into three main categories, P2, P3, and P4, based on their modes of transmission, their degrees of infectivity, virulence, pathogenicity, and the existing prophylactic and therapeutic options against these organisms. Whether viruses, bacteria, parasites, or fungi, in the face of the huge array of pathogens, both known and unknown, the inflatable seal door (airtight door) is the only viable solution for optimal containment.
This inflatable seal door, along with personnel airlocks, equipment hatches and inflatable seal passboxes/pass-throughs/hatches with very high airtightness performance, protect your personnel and secure your work areas against the world’s most virulent pathogens.
Inflatable seal doors are referenced as safety equipment for Class 4 (P4) and Class 3 (P3) labs, essential factors in the fight against the most virulent infectious diseases. Enhanced airtightness doors, chambers and passboxes help to protect against infectious outbreaks; they are essential equipment in the fight against the spread of highly contagious pathogens.
In cleanrooms, anti-virus doors, hermetically sealing doors, airtight doors, and equipment pass-through/transfer hatches help to maintain precise settings such as temperature, humidity, and relative pressure, governed by a two-tier standard: ISO 14664 provides general technical requirements; ISO 14644-1 specifies the volume of air sampled as a control sample based on the expected class so as to maintain compliance with ISO 14644
Our technicians provide installation, commissioning, training, maintenance and after-sales service for your cleanroom doors, passboxes, hermetically sealing doors, etc.
Sensitive areas
Bio-dis equipment, including doors for clinics, hospitals and laboratories, guillotine pass-through hatches, passboxes and hatches for transferring materials and equipment, sliding doors, cleanroom doors, safety doors, ventilated passboxes and ventilated pass-throughs or pass-thrus, are used in areas susceptible to environmental contamination.
Installation
Bio-dis installs cleanrooms covering up to 200m², also used in medical research, i.e. manufacture of radioelements, cancer treatment centres, clinical pharmacies in oncology, radiotherapy oncology departments, injectable anticancer chemotherapy preparation units, centralised cytotoxic preparation units (UPC), sterilisation rooms, reconstitution units according to GPP – AFSSAPS.
Our equipment is installed in a wide range of industries:
