Description
The equipment transfer passbox, or pass-through, is an important piece of equipment that allows equipment and materials to be transferred between two zones with differing cleanliness levels or classes. It prevents contamination during equipment transfer.
- Lift-off leaf, thickness 40 mm – single leaf / double leaf (single / double swing door)
- Passbox enclosures and doors comprise a hermetically sealed welded assembly
- Inner casing in 304 L stainless steel, satin-finish, polished, 220 grain
- Outer casing in electrogalvanized steel, powder coated (thickness 80 microns), anti-corrosion coating as per RAL colour chart
- Hermetic seal ensured by a cellular EPDM single-hardness static seal on all 4 sides of the frame
- Lever handle with stainless steel faceplate lock or stainless steel pull handle
- Flush-fit hinges with anti-friction bearings, polished stainless steel
- Sound and thermal insulation with expanded rockwool core M0 (density 130 kg/m3) or non-combustible aluminium honeycomb core (option)
- Leakage rate under positive and negative pressure: 0.89 m3/h at 30 Pa (according to laboratory leak test)
- Door interlock function with “turn lock” opening control mechanism
- A colour-coded display (white/red) indicates the locking status of the facing door
